A Series of Unfortunate Events?

I should be in Paris today, but instead I’m sitting in an airport. I flew out of Indiana to Chicago to catch my connecting flight to Paris. My flight was due to leave last night at 9:30 pm, but there was “maintenance” that needed to be done. First they said it would be 20 minutes, then an hour, then another half hour, then we were definitely leaving at 12:30 am. By 11:00 we were rescheduled for noon today and now we are at 3:30 pm, hopefully. I’ll be honest, flying makes me nervous so the prospect of a different plane does not upset me! But, I was wondering last night if all of these obstacles between me and Europe were a sign. This entire journey seems comical at this point.
But then on the hotel shuttle ride back to the airport this morning, I sat next to a woman. Her flight had been canceled too, but she was heading back home to California. She had just been to Greece to visit her brother who started his own digital nomad journey a year ago. We had such a good talk and weirdly we had so much in common, we were the same age, she was also a therapist, and she used to live in LA. Her brother actually lived in the suburb I lived in and I usually don’t run into many people who have even heard of it. There were so many “coincidences” we agreed that it felt like kismet. When she got off of the shuttle, she looked at me and said, “Don’t give up, go to Europe and live your life. Everything is going to be fine.” I thanked her and glanced over her shoulder to see a sign that had “Melody” on it. That was my sign, my mom’s name.
I had forgotten that when I travel solo, this happens so often. I meet people I have so many weird connections with, sometimes due to a change of plans like with this woman. I was supposed to be on a later shuttle, but because I had issues with my ticket I decided to go to the airport earlier. And she was the only other person on the shuttle. Would I have even spoken to her if there was a bus full of people?
Traveling feels like a spiritual journey for me. Showing me that something/someone is watching over me, exploring right along with me. It’s like all of these experiences are being arranged for me, to help me experience life the way I am supposed to. To learn, to grow, and to be inspired. It’s kind of magical! And I can’t wait to see what happens next. ♥️

Divine synchronicity desguised as: A Series of Unfortunate Events! What a gift it is to receive and experience these synchronicites and to be OPEN to them!
